![]() | When I was 14 I first discovered Photoshop in my graphic arts class and started to try out effects and retouching on my photographs. I had always been creative and felt the need to create art, tried drawing and painting, but never really found a passion for it. Quickly I learnt that I needed better quality images to work with in Photoshop and that my own images wasn’t really up to the standard I wanted, so I set about to develop my photography as well as my retouching skills. This was such an important step in my learning curve and a great contribution to here I am today. Passion for learning is a great motivational factor. I worked hard to save up to buy a digital SLR camera for myself and soaked up tutorials on-line on photography and professional retouching in Photoshop. The more I learnt, the more proud I was over my creations, it was something very personal and it felt really good to have taught myself something I could see was valuable. |
