![]() | So!! What do you wear for a photography session? Whatever you would like!! Honestly, don’t stress too much about it! You want to look like YOU in your photos, so don’t go out and buy some over-the-top outfit if it doesn’t fit your style. If you have any questions, bring multiple outfits with you on the day of the shoot, and we can discuss what looks best, and what locations that particular outfit would look good with. If I could pick clothing out for you – it would NOT be solid colors with jeans only. I love outfits with texture (lace, ruffles, etc.) color, and style. I LOVE high heels. Try not to do some crazy pattern in your clothing, though, because we want your face(s) to stand out, not clothing that is too loud. Also – unless you LOVE your upper arms (and really how many people love that part of their body the best?!) then please choose a top that is not sleeveless. Depending on the pose and camera angle, even the tiniest of arms can look not-so-tiny, thus resulting in you not liking the photo, even though your expression is wonderful and the photo is amazing! If you have the arms of a supermodel – by all means, show them off!! If you are having your picture taken with more than one person (e-session, family session) try to coordinate a color scheme instead of the same exact color. For instance, if you love blues, have one person wear navy, one baby blue, one middle blue, one in a white shirt with a blue tie, etc. Or, if you want to bump it up a notch, choose complimentary colors. This works especially well for couples. Bottom line – wear what you feel comfortable in, and what you wear in real life!! If you are still having a hard time, there is a “what to wear” just email us for more advise. |
